On February 2, 2024, the Cambodia Microfinance Association organized the Rural Credit Institution Club Meeting (RCI Club Meeting) to elect the club’s president and vice-president for the 2024–2025 mandate. Cl ub members also discussed various challenges currently faced by rural credit institutions, as well as opportunities and priority work directions for the coming year. Furthermore, members demonstrated their commitment to improving operations among rural credit institutions.
It should be noted that following active voting participation from 23 member institutions, Mr. Dy Sitha, Chief Executive Officer of Daikou Finance Plc., was elected as the President of the Rural Credit Institution Club. Mr. Ven Saman, Board Member of Mamede Finance Institution PLC, was elected as the Vice-President, and Mr. Kok Tha, Chief Executive Officer of FHF Capital Plc., was appointed as the Secretary General of the Rural Credit Institution Club.
The Cambodia Microfinance Association extends its congratulations to the three newly elected leaders of the Rural Credit Institution Club, who will play a crucial role in leading and developing the rural credit sector in Cambodia with responsibility and customer protection.
