On September 29, 2023, the Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA) signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC) and the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC) to strengthen strategic partnership and collaboration in promoting financial literacy, boosting access to business financing, and establishing close networking relationships, particularly to understand the essential needs of micro, small, and medium-sized business owners and financial institutions in Cambodia.
This strategic partnership is the second of its kind organized by the three associations, dating back to 2021, and this event will continue to promote and mainstream financial literacy as well as responsible financial inclusion with customer protection among young entrepreneurs and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
It should be noted that the signing of this 3-year agreement took place during the “3rd MSME-Financial Institution Networking Event,” which was jointly organized by the Cambodia Microfinance Association, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia, and the Association of Banks in Cambodia.
