Her Excellency Dit Nita, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Chairwoman of the Education and Staff Development Fund Committee of the Cambodia Microfinance Association, presided over the meeting of the Education and Staff Development Fund Committee to summarize the achievements, challenges, and opportunities of the committee through the Training and Development Department in 2023, as well as to prepare, review, and approve the plan for 2024.
Mr. Chhorn Vathanak, Head of the Training and Development Department of the Cambodia Microfinance Association, delivered a detailed presentation on the achievements accomplished by the department in 2023 compared to the approved plan, within the framework of enhancing knowledge, skills, ethics, and professionalism for officers and management staff of institutions through specialized training courses, training seminars, excellent educational programs, and numerous collaborations with partners and stakeholders in the sector. In addition, he highlighted several challenges and new opportunities for Her Excellency the Chairwoman and the committee members to review, address, and set strategic priorities for the upcoming years.
This was the 4th meeting in 2023, which was held at the office of the Cambodia Microfinance Association on the afternoon of Thursday, December 14, 2023.
